perspective that would provide preparation for commissioning in Christian service.
Our Mission
To provide a holistic, relevant and biblical training in church leadership. It aims to produce well-prepared church
leaders that will be responsive to the needs of community ecclesiastical service, cognizant to the call of God and the Great
Commission.

COURSE
DESCRIPTION:
In 2Tim. 2:2, Paul admonishes Timothy: “…and the things you have heard me say in the presence
of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.” This course prepares the students
to assume the caring role of leadership trainers of the church that would prepare the members to higher calling of ecclesiastical
service in specific areas.
COURSE OUTCOMES:
At the end of the course, the students are expected to:
a.
Absorb leadership qualities in preparation for service b. Adopt leadership techniques based on proven principles. c.
Acquire leadership characters through biblical examples. d. Develop personal habits for daily Christian living. e. Gain
working knowledge of leadership techniques f. Be able to explain church doctrines in the light of the Scriptures. g.
Apply their knowledge in the specific environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Each student should meet the following minimum
requirements:
a. Should have finished Evangelism and Discipleship course b. Should be endorsed by the Senior Pastor.

First Year – Certified Church Leadership Trainer (CCLT)
I. Leadership Principles (9

III. Church Growth (9 hrs)

Conducting Bible Study and Prayer Groups (Lecture/Laboratory) b. Church Planting & Mission (Lec/Lab)
IV. Leadership
Application and Techniques (9 hrs)
a. Basic Homiletics (The Christian Study of Preaching and Teaching) (Lec/Lab) b.
Basic Hermeneutics (Biblical Interpretation) c. Church Administration (Lec/Lab) d. Youth Leadership e. Group Dynamics

V. Doctrinal Studies (9 hrs)
a. Fundamental Truths b. Church History c. History of the Bible
Second
Year – Certified Church Worker (CCW)
a. Elective Major Subjects b. Internship through Specific Areas of the
Church (e.g. Preaching, Sunday School, Bible Study and Prayer Meeting, Music, Mission, etc.) c. Project
ASSESSMENT:
At
the end of the first year, the student should be able to pass the course through oral examination administered by the faculty.
After satisfactorily meeting the minimum requirement of their first year, they will be receiving a Certificate of Church Leadership
Trainer (CCLT). This certificate will also be necessary for internship on their second year, during which they will be exposed
to the actual environment of different church works and leadership while continually receiving advanced knowledge of their
choice of elective subjects. After satisfactorily passing their internship, the ecclesiastical elders shall then commission
them as Certified Church Workers (CCW) to specific areas of church service that they will deem necessary.
COURSE
DELIVERY:
For the effectiveness of delivering the course, the following shall be observed:
a. Lecture and student-teacher
interaction or discussion shall be implemented. b. Practical workshops and hands-on lecture or participation with the aide
of various tools that are relevant to a specific subject matter to facilitate learning shall be undertaken.
